Gill flew from Toronto and arrived at 3:45. Flight Tracker system is great. I knew her flight left late and I knew when she was expected to arrive and I knew exactly when she did arrive. I estimated her time getting through customs, then waited downstairs on the bench until she arrived. Sure enough, after ten minutes, up she drove in a taxi, all set for a week in the warm weather.
After Gill showered and unpacked, we ate cheese and crackers and drank beer while we watched the afterglow of the sunset and talked about our children and mutual friends. We had a lot to catch up on since we have not seen each other since last summer in Nova Scotia. At dinner we talked about what she wants to do here while she is in Nuevo Vallarta. We will spend time in Bucerias and another day in Puerto Vallarta, seeing the new Malecon. We will not cook much at home. But we will all have a good time, I am sure.
