We arrived at the lake at 9:00 am and ate breakfast at The Bakery, our favorite. It was not crowded so we think things are not doing so well for them. In the past it has been full. From one time to the next, the restaurants in the place have changed. "Flaps" a new restaurant serving breakfast and lunch seemed always busy but the last time we were at the lake it was closed. Unfortunately, much of the Bakery crowd had moved to Flaps. Today an old restaurant with a new name "Grandma M's" was crowded . Restaurants come and go.
The lake house looks good. We emptied the blue dishes from the truck and started to re-organize the cupboards but decided I must consult with Suzanne. Ken read the instructions for our portable satellite dish so we are getting close to having our own TV everywhere we go. It is certainly more complicated than it seems. Now we need another part, but sending something to us is difficult. We use a PO box at the ranch and most packages can not be sent to a PO box. And truth be told, we do not really know where we will be next week. Oh bother.
This afternoon we will empty the truck of the stuff at Suzanne and David's home and sort it, some items going to the ranch and some staying with them. Tonight we will attend the Talent Show at the school of Samantha and Allison. They are singing a song so we will be proud grandparents. It's a job I can do well.
