March 9, 2011. Artemas, Pa. Another Miracle.

All day we have been working but now it is done.  The truck is loaded with all the stuff for Texas, never to be opened until we hit the Lone Star State.  When I say loaded, I mean it is full.  The bed of the truck is filled to the top with objects.  Betty wrapped and Vinal loaded and I cheered.  Ken worked on the computer all day, keeping us current with our accounts.  The main room of the hill house is looking better and better.  Now, all that is left are stacks of paintings and photographs, ready for our return in June.  It is another minor miracle that the truck is packed and ready for the trip.

I had separated the stuff and put them into separate bedrooms, so last night after dinner I packed up all the goods into boxes, ready to be loaded today.  Now tomorrow Ken and Vinal will get a trailer in Cumberland,  and in the afternoon we will load the furniture and stuff for Mississippi.  With any luck we will leave Friday morning.   Having friends who help are another miracle in life.

Today it snowed.  Betty and Vinal left a day early due to the bed weather.  Freezing rain that was coming would have kept them home in Nova Scotia until today, but here they are, helping us  get the stuff to Mississippi and Texas.  They will drive the trailer but will not go along to Texas.  Duty calls them back home.   This whole week has seen a series of minor miracles.  I have appreciated and been grateful for everyone.
