October 8, 2014. San Antonio, Texas. Finally.

Finally, we arrived in San Antonio. Today was a long, tedious day. Our original reservation took us from Halifax to Newark with a two hour layover followed by a direct flight to San Antonio. But our flight was changed and the airline did not alert us so we were unable to leave Halifax on Tuesday. Instead, we were rebooked to Newark early this morning, then to Houston and finally to San Antonio. The problem was that we were unable to get a seat until 5:30, even though we arrived in Houston before noon. Finally, David picked us up at the airport at 6:30 so we were able to see the family. But we are weary. I spent the afternoon watching humanity. Normally I can turn it into a game but not today. Perhaps it is my ridiculous cough!! After a good nights sleep, all will be well tomorrow. I am counting on it.
