Molly loves to eat at Chick Fil A. Last week, when the ladies were trying to figure out where to go to dinner, Molly always piped up with "How about Chick Fil A?" She made the same suggestion ten times. I suggested to her that we do not eat dinner there, just lunch, so she finally gave up. But every time we were discussing any restaurant, Molly always told us that her favorite restaurant was Chick Fil A. Ken and I have never eaten at one of their restaurants, and neither has Andrew but Molly loves it. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the food comes in separate packages which pleases her. And they serve chocolate milk in a bottle.
Tonight we fooled her. Ken and I picked up Ken's new glasses and even though we were not intending to dine with the family tonight, on the spur of the moment, I called and asked Christina about going to dinner at Chick Fil A. Molly came on the phone so I asked her if she would like to go to dinner at her favorite restaurant. She answer "Yes please", and gave the phone back to Christina.
I can see why she likes it. They give a toy or a book to each child, but after they had eaten, the child can turn the book or toy back, and then get an ice cream cone. Molly loves the fact that she is in charge. The food was good. The staff was child friendly. No wonder it is her favorite restaurant. Tonight, the grandparents broke with the custom of not eating dinner at Chick Fil A. Instead we indulged out youngest granddaughter, and she was thrilled.
