Good folks have asked me about Ken so I will report.  Ken has  just finished having a shower so he is fresh and clean and he is sitting beside me in the wheel chair looking out to sea.  We bought a wheel chair,  Kathy and Ted bought it to day they did a big shopping for us.  Today,  Ken walked to the living room using the walker and two helpers.  He can get up from the bed.  He has no infection.  He must built up his strength and he is making progress.  He has a long way to go.  But he is determined.
