For 8 weeks, we have enjoyed watching the sun setting from our balcony from the 7th floor. Now we say good bye, but we expect to return in January of 2017. This is a lovely spot to spend the winter. This year we tried a different system which was to buy lots of groceries and keep the fridge and pantry stocked. Of course, that only works if we have a willing cook. I hope it was not too difficult for Rita and Doreen but our system worked well for us. Eating home is much easier for Ken than at a restaurant. And the food is better too, at least with our cooks.
Now our locker is loaded with our belongings. Every year we are more efficient. Friends tell me that every season their locker gets more crowded but we have the different experience. Every season our lockers are less full as we throw out the clothes we have not worn. Tomorrow morning we check out at 11:00. A bellman will bring a large golf cart to pick us up and take us down the road to Paradise Village. Our unit will not be ready but we four will have lunch at the restaurant on the beach. For the next two weeks, we plan to eat out more often and we will enjoy the extra activity. There are lots more people milling around down there. Then we go home...but not yet. Tomorrow, we just move on down the road.
