Doreen and I were just commenting how weary we feel even though it is only just after 8:00. Change days are always tiring and I am not sure why. The most important fact of the day is that we moved from Playa Royale to Paradise Village. Our move went smoothly but there were still many tasks to be done to accomplish our goal.
Our plan was to eat most of our food at Playa, which we did. We brought just condiments, rice and soups. Fortunately, our room was ready when we arrived but before we went for lunch, I was forced to take a short rest. Our apartment is pleasant. We get to watch how the other world lives as we over look huge yachts. Tonight from our balcony we can watch a dinner party for six on the stern of a large boat. Fun to watch when they can not see us.
So far this afternoon, while taking a tea break, Doreen and I saw dozens of brown pelicans and 2 great Kiskadees. We over look a busy canal with many boats of all sizes coming and going. We are enjoying our new digs and I think we will be very comfortable for the next two weeks. But first we need a good night sleep. The extra hour will help.
