One of the pleasures of life in Mexico is that you have time to plan. Here, we are not inundated with schedules and we have no list of things to do. Instead we talk and think of what we should be doing down the road. Ken and I have planned long trips while in Mexico, only some of which we have taken, but are still in the back of our minds. One day we might be able to take those long train journeys .
Don and Doreen have caught the spirit of Mexico and have been figuring out what to do next. They live in a bungalow in Whitby, east of Toronto, but they have been discussing moving to a condominium. During this visit, they have decided to down size, sell their home and move into something smaller. They have been spending time on the internet checking out options for where they might live. I am preaching the gospel of selling their house first before they even look at condos. I hope they are listening even though my information is out of date.
Last year we sold the farm and planned to buy a home in Mississippi. This year, Ken and I have decided that soon we will fly from Mississippi to Texas and keep a car in each place, but not yet. Our quiet time in Mexico is an excellent place to plan for the future without the normal distractions of activities. Don and Doreen have found so too. It is a great blessing to be able to have the quiet to plan ahead.
