April 3, 2022. Madison, Mississippi. A Celebration for Molly.

This weekend, Molly's school held an event. It was their annual school play and Molly had a juicy part which she loved. She was Ursula in the play, The Little Mermaid. The school is small but the drama teacher is excellent and their productions have been excellent. She has only been at the school for three years but every production has been better than the one before. They gave 4 performances so by Saturday evening the cast was weary as was the director/teacher. But today, Molly was ready to celebrate her success. She selected Sombra, the Mexican restaurant for her celebration. I did not attend a performance. My immune system knocks me out of being around so many people. But Christina took 4 videos so I was able to see and hear Molly. I must say that she was spectacular. Her singing was beautiful and her appearance on stage dramatic. Her wig, make up and gown were spectacular. She was given a standing ovation at the last performance. All the time at brunch we talked about the play. The most important part of the play was that Molly loved the whole thing. She loves to be on stage and she loved being the villain. But she did admit that she does not wish to be in the entertainment business. And she is pleased the play is over. But today we celebrated in style. The play was sold out for each performance and Molly did a great job with her part. Christina was happy for Molly because Molly worked hard with her lines and her singing. Now this Thursday she will have surgery on her knee. But at the moment she is still basking in the glow of the success of The Little Mermaid. Hats off to Molly.
