I have known Irene for almost sixty years, but until today, we have never gone shopping together. Today I enjoyed our shopping. We had three tasks and we accomplished them all.
The weather was fearsome with rain and wind and thunder. Miserable actually. We got lucky and the rain almost stopped whenever we got out of the car and headed for a store. Normally, we would have parked and walked but with the rain, we drove the car from store to store. The beauty of The Renaissance Mall is that all the stores are free standing, with a road bisecting the block of stores so you can drive until you find the store, then park close by. It is a wonderful Mall.
Today, Irene and I enjoyed our shopping together. She is not much of a shopper either, but today we were successful, even in the rain.
