May 26, 2012. Morristown, TN. Traveling.

Everything went well today.  The sky was blue and the girls were delightful, reading and listening to music and napping and snacking.  Every so often we would talk.  And the traffic was  light so we made good time.  Tomorrow afternoon, we should arrive at the farm which will make us all very happy.

We are staying in a Best Western Plus in a room with two queen beds and one bathroom.  Fortunately, the motel is adjacent to a Cracker Barrel so we walked there for dinner.  The food was delicious, probably because we had not eaten lunch so were starving.   Now, except for Ken, we are in nightshirts so I suspect we will go to bed soon.  Right now, Mary Frances is soaking her ingrown toenail in the bathtub, as directed by Christina.

Tennessee is a lovely state, with lots of big hills and rocks and interesting cities.  One time soon, I want to stay a day or two in Chattanooga, a town we have driven through and sung about but never spent any time.  Perhaps next time.  But for now, we will soon be in Virginia, then West Virginia and Maryland.  Finally, we will reach our destination in Pennsylvania and we will all be smiling!!.
