October 23, 2017. Canyon Lake, Texas. Moving On.

Tonight will be the last night we spend at the lake for this visit.  We have been busy and leave with the house better for us than we arrived.  All our planning paid off.  Our closet functions well, with the new carpentry work.  The boxes are gone and everything found a home or went to the trash or the consignment store.  Ken's orders have helped.  Both desks have comfortable chairs and the other improvements serve us well.  We have everything from pen holders to toilet roll containers.  And we will leave enough chocolate in the freezer to last us our next visit.

Tomorrow we drive to Fredericksbury where Ken will see the Neurologist.  Dr. Stotz prescribed a new medication so wanted to check Ken out after two weeks.  Our plan is to leave at 11:00, have lunch in Johnson City and check into our motel.  Ken will rest before meeting with the good doctor at 3:40.  We will stay over  night and drive to San Antonio to return the rental car.  Enterprise will drive us to David and Suzanne, where we will stay until we fly to Mississippi on Monday the 30th.  All being well, all will be well.

I have folded the last load of laundry.  The car is mostly loaded.   The dishwasher is empty.  After a good night sleep, we will be ready to say goodbye to the lake house.  But we will return.
