July 25, 2019. Western Head, Nova Scotia. Ruth & the Truck.

Tomorrow will be interesting. Ruth R.will drive us into town using the old truck. Ruth is short. The truck has no running board. In order to get into the truck, she must use the blue stool. But when she gets in, she can not pick up the stool. Our plan is for me to stand beside her when she clambers into the truck, then pick up the stool and walk around to the passenger side and put the stool in the back seat. When we arrive at our destination I will reverse the drill. I will retrieve the stool from the back seat and carry it to the driver's side where Ruth will step down. Next I will put the stool back into the car, ready for our next journey. Ruth practiced driving the truck in our driveway and had no trouble. But getting in and out proved difficult. But we figured out the plan. We are all set for our excursion tomorrow. But we will certainly look odd!!.
