July 28, 2019. Western Head, Nova Scotia. Visiting Day.

Today we stayed home and visited friends. First thing in the morning, Gill walked over for a few minutes to chat with Ruth R. and to invite us over to her house so Ruth could see the Folly. As we were walking across the causeway to Gill's home we met Walt and Many with a full car to come and say hello to us so we turned around to return home to visit on the deck. Along with Mary & Walt was Walt's daughter Leslie and Walt's three granddaughters. I had not seen them for a couple of years so I was delighted to talk with them. We had a great visit with the girls who alternating chatting with us and racing down to the rocks.. Ruth and I were running out of time so we drove to Gills. We drank a soda and ate delicious shortbread while enjoying her beautiful home. Ruth enjoyed the Folly before we returned home. After lunch and a short nap for Ruth D., we walked to visit Wendy and Clausen and the dogs. Ruth had never seen their home or the baby bog or the dogs. Tojo came to visit with us too se we ended up visiting for well over an hour and enjoyed every minute. And we walked home. After supper, the 10 from the Ely's home came to make a fire in our fire pit down by the water. We could see the fire from our living room. The evening was chilly which made it perfect for a fire. We visited with everyone when they first came over but we did not join them by the fire. Too chilly. Ruth and I enjoyed our day at Western Head. The weather was perfect and we loved visiting with our friends at Western Head. Our day was not fancy but it was certainly pleasant.
