February 21, 2020. Playa Royale, Mexico. Il Pescatore Ristoranti.

We five had a wonderful time. Rachel wore her new red dress which gave us all a sense of elegance that carried through the whole meal. Everything was extra special. We walked to the restaurant and we walked back which is a trick for me walking in the dark. But we made it safe and sound. The restaurant is beside the marina so while you eat you can look at the beautiful boats sitting at the dock. Right in front of us was a large sailing vessels with two big dogs and one cat on the deck. Their antics kept us all amused. First thing we did was to order a margarita to celebrate our successful visit. Gaby and Rachel leave on Sunday and Rita and Ian on Thursday. So this was our official Last Supper in a restaurant. We dined in style. My appetizer was delicious: shrimp, hearts of palm, artichokes and greens. I ate salmon for my main course with lots of vegetables. Tirimisu for dessert. Everyone enjoyed their dinner. Il Pescatore is a fine restaurant. I was delighted to see they are still doing well. Tonight their service was excellent and the food superb. We five were happy campers.
