February 7, 2020. Playa Royale, Mexico. A Jet Ski Accident.

This afternoon, 2 jets skis ran into each other right in front of our resort. They hit head on. The large bay in front of us is always empty of boats and how these boats could run into each other is unbelievable. But they did. Folks on the shore think that the two men were playing chicken and someone forgot to swerve. One man was badly in cured with facial lacerations. He also lost all his teeth. Stupidity in action I think. No boat accident has ever happened here. Once two people were unable to paddle back to the canal with their kayaks. They left their kayak and walked back. Eventually the kayaks were picked up. But today was an exciting and scary afternoon at Playa Royale. Ted and Kathy were walking the beach when the accident occurred. The two jet skis were going at full speed heading toward each other when they crashed. Fortunately, two other jet skis were in the area and picked up the injured man. But the whole thing was ridiculous. With a huge open body of water to play in, these two fools had to play chicken. Everyone at the shore were terrified. Certainly was the excitement of the day.
