February 14, 2022. Playa Royale, Nuevo Vallarta. Waiting.

My Ken once said that getting well was just like watching paint dry. It seemed to take forever. The same is true for waiting. Kenny and Anne were expecting to get back on their boat and sail down the coast of Mexico. But they are waiting. They have applied for a four year visa to travel in Mexico. Over two weeks ago they were given the visa but the final card would be available in two weeks. The Immigration office where they applied is right across the street so tomorrow they will walk over to see what is happening. In the meantime, they wait. In addition, they are waiting for two packages, one coming from San Diego and the other from Laredo. And neither package has arrived so they wait. In the meantime, they are enjoying themselves and we are enjoying their company. As Kenny commented the othe evening, "If a person must wait, this is a good place to wait." This morning they made a trip to the Mega to stock their boat, plus to buy groceries for our condo. After lunch here, they took their purchases to the boat. And Anne organized their boat pantry. Tomorrow they will go to the Farmers Market and Wednesday Wendy will join them for a day of sailing when they visit a little town on Bandares Bay that is only available by boat. Thursday we will dine at The Riviera Grill. So they keep busy and happy. But they would prefer to be out on their boat. Waiting is difficult, even if you are having a good time.
