December 19, 2022. Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. Recovery Day.

Our goals for the day were modest.  We need to eat three proper meals even though we had no food in the Villa.  We needed to exchange dollars for pesos and I needed to have my picture ID taken.  I am pleased to say that we accomplished all our modest goals.  In addition, we bought a small amount of stuff at the market such as coffee, cheese and crackers.  Wendy would not do well without coffee in the kitchen.

In addition, both Chris and I took shot naps both morning and afternoon, and we had a pleasant day too.  For breakfast we went back to Jude's at the Plaza, the same place we ate dinner last night.  One of my favorite places for lunch is the Yacht Club, so we took the shuttle and enjoyed our lunch overlooking the 18th hole.  And this evening at 6:00 Wendy, Ken, Alana and Nick arrive at the airport, so we will meet them in the main building.

Once again, traveling is tiring.  And, Chris walked a long way in the airports so his legs are sore.  And of course, we got lost last night and that extended our walk.  Today we only walked as much as necessary.  And we both feel better today.  Tomorrow will be even better, if history serves us well.  So our recovery day has been a success!  So now onto the next step.
