We had a lovely evening with Don and Doreen. They arrived this afternoon at the door of the condo. I had not even gone to greet them down stairs. For shame. After changing clothes, we four went down to the restaurant/bar on the beach to watch the sunset. As we have no food and no beverages except water in the apartment, we are forced to go out, which has it's own reward. It was wonderful watching the beach and the sunset as we all drank Margaritas, at least, three of us did. Catching up is always a delight so our chatter was non stop.
After coming up to the condo to change, we walked to the Italian seafood restaurant , that sits beside the marina. The evening was warm and quiet so we enjoyed the good food and talked about old times. It was a wonderful evening with our good friends. We have known each other for sixty years and enjoyed every minute together. Now we will all relish the Mexican weather and the beach and pool. Ken and I will enjoy the company. It remains to be seen if we will stick to our system of shopping. I don't really enjoy shopping, let alone shopping every other day. Doreen and I will decide tomorrow!!
