January 25, 2013. Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. Supper.

Our system for food is not really working.   It turns out that none of us really enjoys going to the market, so when we do shop, we wait until every bit of food in the house is gone, before returning to the store.   We go out to eat for a late lunch, then sit around the table eating supper while we watch the sunset.   Last evening, Ken made a pasta dish which was actually quite tasty.   He heated up left over pasta with rice, and added melted cheese.  It was good but that was the last food in the fridge, except for cereal for breakfast.

Tonight, after a lovely day at the pool and a large lunch sitting by the beach at a new restaurant,  we all decided we did not need much to eat, so we ate the only thing we had which was toast and peanut butter and honey, along with a cup of tea.   We all laughed.  I must say that this is a new experience for me and I am not sure we will do it again.  But at least we are all reducing our waistline, which is a good thing.  Now we really must make a visit to the market tomorrow.
