January 6, 2013. Nuevo Vallarta, Mexico. Settled.

Now we are settled, except we have no food.   The refrigerator is as empty as the pantry.   We might leave our place free of food until we lose weight.    The Christmas season has not been kind to our waist line.   Maybe we will eat out once a day until we both get thin.

The restaurant in front of the condo right on the beach reminded us why we like this place.   We walked down about 11:30 to have brunch.    Life slows down when you live here.    The waiters were pleasant and welcomed us home.    The restaurant is right on the beach but has a tile floor.  The shelter shades the full sun but allows you to see the sky.   During our two hour lunch, we got to watch the people on the beach with all the variety in shapes and sizes.  We watched a cruise ship arrive in Puerto Vallarta.   Nothing exciting going on, but it was very pleasant.

And the food was good too, along with the coffee.  The weather is perfect. 80 degrees and a breeze, which along with full sun  makes for wonderful weather.  We are very fortunate.  Our clothes are clean but our larder is empty.   Maybe we are not settled?
