February 10, 2017. Playa Royale, Mexico. A Lovely Day.

For the first  time this season, we walked to the hotel/time share.   The distance is about twice the walk to the market.  The day was perfect for walking especially in the shade.  We four walked on the bicycle path, which is always shaded.  Our goal was to change dollars to pesos and to eat lunch at one of our favorite spots,  at the end of the hotel right beside the beach.  We did well walking.  Doreen and I always walk faster than Don and Ken so I changed the money immediately, then sat in the comfortable chairs in the beautiful open center room. When the men arrived, we four sat for a while, enjoying the lovely open space.

The restaurant has done a good thing by installing a cover over a large section of the outside area.  In the past, we always sat under the palm trees to provide shade but as the sun moves, we found ourselves moving the chairs or table.  Now we are always shaded but still close to the beach which always has breezes blowing.   Our meal was delightful, a welcoming lunch to Don and Doreen.  I ate tortilla soup and a greek salad.  I order tortilla soup in every restaurant because each place is a bit different  but always tasty.   And I ordered flan for dessert.

We four decided to take  a golf cart home to Playa Royale.  The  first thing we did when we got home at 3:45 was to take a short nap.  The rest  of the day flew away.  We have had a lovely day.
