I am waiting for civility and grace to appear. One would think that after being so wrong during the election they might have a period of time for reflection, but that does not seem to be the case. Take the case for the media. Every paper but two in the US supported Hillary Clinton. Every television station except one did everything in their power to elect Hillary. They were all convinced she would win. But they were all wrong. I hear nothing of value from the Democrats trying to figure out how they went wrong. Instead they cast aspersions on voters who elected Donald Trump.
And since then, the hard left liberals have been nasty and lawless. Their image is abysmal.
I listened to three CNN commentators discussing the future of the Trump administration. What arrogance. The same three were totally wrong with their predictions on the election so why do they think anyone would pay attention to their words? Do they think people are stupid and have no memory?
The Democrate in congress are obstructing every move made by Mr. Trump for no reason except to slow things down. They merely appear foolish. They will drive yet more voters to leave the Democratic party. Half of the voters in the nation voted for Mr. Trump, who ran on issues that should appeal to the Democrats in congress, such as infra structure, and drug expenses and tax reform. Certainly the Republicans in congress will have a difficult time swallowing some of those three. But the Democrats are not seeing the forest for the trees. We need a return to civility and grace to move the country ahead.
