April 17, 2017. Madison, Mississippi. Surprise Surprise.

Who would have ever thought that the Nashville Predators have beaten the Chicago Blackhawks two games in a row.  And Chicago has not scored a goal.  In fact, the Predators goalie has had two assists, which is more than any Chicago player.    Chicago with it's high powered offense was expected to sweep the series.    But Chicago has a habit of coming back and winning the series.  Tonight they play again, this time in Nashville where it will be noisy.  The series is not over.

The wise men of hockey were also predicting that the Washington Capitals would sweep the Toronto Maple Leafs in their series.  Instead, the Maple Leafs have won two games, for one to Washington.   Toronto has not been in a playoff game for many years so the whole city is alive with enthusiasm.  Thousands of folks were outside the stadium watching the game on a big screen.    The crowd went crazy when the Leafs won the game.   They just might win the series.  We will see.

I am always pleased that I do not gamble.  Trying to predict who will win and who will lose is not easy.  But it is fun, especially if you were from Toronto.  Keep your seat.  More is coming.
