Our neighbors have not appeared. Wendy, Ken and I have been watching to see if there were lights or activities. We don't know them well but every time we were here, they were here. And we chatted. The wife watched for iguanas. She always found them in the palm trees asleep. And the husband only came outside if he was on the phone. But now they are not there.
Early last week we noticed people in the unit. And I figured that the condo was for sale or rent. Then last evening Ken noticed that there was no furniture in the living room and dining room. But today we found out what had happened to the condo adjacent to our unit. Kathy and Ted had lunch with us at the golf club and they gave us the real story.
The unit was sold and has already settled. Our neighbors from Calgary have sold their Mexican home. The new neighbors are friends of Kathy and Ted. What we saw the last few days was a company removing all the furniture. The unit was sold with all the furniture and contents. But the new owners did not want to use the old furniture so they they had a company remove everything. The new owners also wish to refurbish the kitchen and bathrooms but you can not do any noisy construction until May 1.
So now we know the end of the story. We will have new neighbors.
