Today was a red letter day for Abigail Ruth. She graduated from the Episcopal School of San Antonio, commonly known as TMI. Next year she will attend Furman University in South Carolina. Right now, her world is her oyster. She is all smiles in every picture. Academically, TMI is a tough school. A student must work hard in order to achieve a good grade. Abby has the additional load because she has some level of dyslexia, but she has learned to work hard and be diligent no matter the task, something that will stand her in good stead over the coming years. Even more importantly, she has great spirit and spunk.
Watching these girls grow up has been a great pleasure in my life. They are all beautiful and pleasant to boot. One day many years ago, we were discussing something with David and Suzanne about Abby and one of her accomplishments. I was complimentary. David laughed and said, "Just to be clear Mother. You believe that your grandchildren are exemplary in every way." We all laughed, but I agreed and said that all my grandchildren are perfect in every way. They certainly are with Ken and me, helping in every way possible. We love all 7 dearly and are pleased with their accomplishments.
So hats off to Abigail Ruth Dickie, the recent graduate of The Episcopal School of San Antonio. We are very proud of her success.
