Dinner for six: that is what we enjoyed last night. Sarah has already gone to work at camp, this week to learn all about how to be a good counselor for her cabin and Abigail at the b each with friends from school. We enjoyed dinner with Samantha, Allison, David and Suzanne. During our delicious dinner, Allison commented that the small number at the table would be normal both this summer and next year because both Sarah and Abigail would be at college. Furthermore, she laughed and said that she was going to enjoy just two girls at home. We all laughed but she was probably correct.
Now we leave and drive to the lake. Yesterday we picked up a car rental from Enterprise, which we will keep until we return to San Antonio at the end of our visit. As is her custom, Suzanne set out a care package to have us take to the lake so we will not need to shop for groceries. Everyone will arrive on Friday for the long weekend, including Sarah from camp. We will have a glorious and easy time at the lake. The girls have already put out food in the car. We will soon be on the road. Our visit with our Texas family has been delightful for which we are grateful.
