Nothing prepares you for your arrival at the Ocean House. We have come here many times but we are still surprised at it's charm. After an early morning flight and a two hour drive from Halifax we were weary but the moment we came into the house and looked out at sea our energies were restored. Of course, it helps to have a loving daughter in law and three helpful grandchildren to greet us and look after our every needs.
The air was a warm 78 with the sea calm. We took our afternoon tea sitting on the deck, enjoying the clean air, the wonderful weather and each other, which is the best gift of all. Ken and I are delighted to be at our ocean home in Nova Scotia and to be enjoying our family and our friends, the Sutherlands from Mississippi. We feel very fortunate to be here amidst a beautiful setting and with loving family and friends. Life does not get much better than this.
