Every evening, Faye from the River Bend Restaurant brings us dinner and leaves the food on the kitchen table along with written instructions. Christina is in charge of following the instructions and when heated, sets out the food on the kitchen table for the rest of us to help ourselves. Prior to that, the kids have already set the table and filled the water glasses. We sit around the long table and enjoy the delicious food that no one has needed to cook. This makes for delightful long dinners.
We eat wonderful salads and delicious desserts along with the main course which are wonderful. Tonight at dinner, Isabel, who is 7, was having no salad. Her Mother Eleanor noted no salad so told Isabel that not eating salad was fine, but she would not be able to have dessert if she was too full for salad. Isabel asked what we were having for dessert so I suggested she look at the dessert in the kitchen. She returned to the table and promptly asked for salad. We all roared. And yes, the dessert was wonderful, worth eating the caesar salad.
David found the caterer last summer. We are still grateful for him now. Not having to prepare meals is a great blessing to all of us living in this home.
