November 27, 2022. Madison, Mississippi. A Rain Day.

Anna and Abe are enjoying the temperature and the sunshine in Mississippi.  Of course, if they were not here they would be in Pennsylvania, where it is already cold.  Up until today, the weather has been perfect.  But today was different.  It rained all  day.  I mean all day.  Anna could not even go for a walk.  But it was a perfect day for napping.  Abe is recovering so takes a nap both morning and evening.  He is doing well.

We had a good day at home.  Anna makes sure I soak my foot three times each day and she prepares our meals.  Rain all day made everyone pleased because they know how dry Mississippi still is.  We are short of water.  The Mississippi is still short of water.  One thing we have been doing since their arrival is to read the Psalms from the King James Bible.  After dinner, Anna and Abe take turns reading a psalm or two.  I love the language of the King James Bible so I am enjoying hearing them out loud.  So far we have read 10 psalms.

We watched an hour of Gospel music on the Rural station.  All three of us enjoys gospel songs.  So we had fun.  Later we listened to Reba McIntyre during a fund raiser for PBS.  So our day of rain passed.  And we were happy.
