January 23, 2019. Playa Royale, Mexico. Margaret and David.

Margaret and David put us to shame. They take many trips and excursions while they are here in Mexico. Two days ago they took a hike to the top of a mountain. The hike was run by Vallarta Adventures. The description did not match the hike which turned out to be arduous and long. The view from the top was spectacular. Then they had to come back down. They were the only two hikers in the trip which was fortunate because they could go at their pace. They are brave to even try. Today they took a bus to a tiny village up the coast. Years ago they got to know the yoga teacher and she invited them to see her town. Today she went with them to show them around. The place was charming. They walked around the town then had lunch on the little beach. And they got home just in time to have a shower and come to have a drink with us which is how we got to hear of their excursions. They leave for home on Saturday. During their three weeks here they have been busy. For three days they visit a town up the coast and stay in a small place on the top of a hill. They like the town and they like the people but I never understand why they do not go up to the little town either before or after their weeks at Playa. But they like to do it that way. Wendy and Ken had not spent anytime with Margaret and David until tonight so they told Wendy and Ken all the other outings they have taken in the past. And a brochure was left. Now we three must visit Paradise Village and book an excursion for Ken and Wendy. Having busy neighbors is helpful. In addition, we enjoyed our little cocktail hour together with our neighbors Margaret and David.
