They call him Linc. He is the newest member of the Dickie family in Texas. Every one is excited because he is a 12 week old Weimereiner and is adorable. Even Moose likes him. David and Suzanne drove to Waco today to pick him up from the breeder. Now they have a puppy to love and train. A few months ago their old yellow lab died of old age. He was a wonderful dog in every way. Moose loved it when David was recuperating from surgery because Moose is lonely. And Moose too is getting old. He is 9 years old and is gray on his muzzle. He is happy when David walks instead of runs and he never just runs in the yard. He is still a wonderful old dog. When I was with them, we discussed getting another dog but Suzanne and David both thought they would wait. But an opening appeared and today they went to pick up their new puppy. They are happy. Moose is an agreeable dog so I feel sure he will teach Linc through his paces. This is a perfect t time for them to have a puppy because Suzanne will be home for the summer. And David will spend time training the dog. Their dogs have always been well behaved and a pleasure to have them around. The puppy is dark gray, called a blue. This is the forth of that breed. Now I look forward to seeing him in October. He has a big name for a little dog, Dograham Lincoln. We will all call him Linc.
