May 20, 2022. Ils de la Madelaine, Quebec.

The day has been glorious which evidently is unusual on the islands. Ihe two excursions were delightful, as reported by David and our other friends. People have lived there from the 16th century. But the place is small but charming. David would like to come back again. He would take a ferry from PEI and stay a few days. The houses are painted bright colors and everything was pristine. The we left just after noon, heading to Gaspe. We have been crossing the Gulf of St. Lawrence. The water has been calm with no high wind. David spotted many Minke whales, also dolphins. And lots of birds. We are driving slowly which is very pleasant. Today we turn our clocks back as we are again in Eastern Time zone. Tomorrow is Gaspe.
