May 7, 2022. Madison, Mississippi. A Day of Celebration.

Today was a day for joyous celebration. Mary Frances graduated from Millsaps College this morning. The day was perfect for the outdoor ceremony, held on the college grounds. Mary Frances has had a stellar experience at Millsaps and today she won yet more awards. We are proud of her. After the ceremony, we gathered for Japanese food at Christin's home. The Creath family and the Dickie family sat around the table and devoured the delicious food, which was provided by Linda, Christina's mother. We were a happy group. And we sat and talked all afternoon. Mary Frances loves Japanese food so it was her request to celebrate with Japanese food. David and Suzanne made a quick trip to their hotel for a change of clothes and for me to put my feet up for half sn hour. Then we 6 ate dinner at Ely's Bistro, a wonderful steak house quite close to home. Molly suggested the restaurant and it was a good choice. The service was excellent and the food delicious. We all left happy and very full. Both David and Suzanne and I gave MF her gift of congratulations at the restaurant so along with the good food and the gift giving, we had an evening of celebration which pleased Mary Frances. AND...David paid the bill. So nice.
