June 16, 2022. Western Head, Nova Scotia. Larry and Jan.

Larry and Jan are the most generous of friends.   The plan was for them to come to my house for a late morning cup of coffee.  No fuss and no muss but just a time to catch up with our lives since we were together last September.  I was not even ready for the coffee because I could not put the water into the coffee maker.  But they bailed me out and filled the coffee maker.  Plus Larry made the coffee using the pods.  In addition, they brought the most delicious almond croissants.  And they brought me a small lasagna as they know I do not cook.  So we had a wonderful visit, drinking coffee, munching and talking.

Larry and Jan have always travelled.  Larry has relatives in England and Spain  who they visited every year.  But since March of 2020, they have been isolated in little Liverpool.  Finally, they are being released.  In July they will attend a family wedding in Ottawa.  Then in September they will visit family in England and Spain.  Finally, they will spend 4 days in Paris, their favorite city.

Fortunately, on Main Street, there was a small group of people go became their bubble.  The group got together for meals.  And they exchanged ideas and books.  So everyone survived in Liverpool during Covid.  Now they are looking forward to get back out to the real world.  Today, I thoroughly enjoyed their company.
