Today, Pat, Mal and I ate brunch at The Osprey Nest in Petite Riviere. The restaurant only opened last year but already it has become a favorite. Today we did everything right, as far as I was concerned. We drive along the shore to get there. And after we ate our delicious meal, we drove along the LaHave River into Bridgewater to get gas. As we were in Nova Scotia, we ate pan fried haddock or scallops which did the job. Delicious.
Staffing is difficult here. They have just reduced their hours and now will stop serving at 4:00 thus eliminating the dinner hour, all due to their inability to hire staff. A pity because it is an excellent restaurant.
On the way home from Bridgewater on highway 103, Mal stoped for ice cream at Bob and the boys, a place I did not know served ice cream. So my day was complete.
