When we walked into the restaurant, the waiters shook our hands and said, "Welcome home". The same waiters have been working there every year since we moved here so the environment is pleasant and comfortable. And we can sit looking out at sea. The floor is stone even though we are right on the beach and there is a cover so we are shaded from the sun. The restaurant is a pleasant place to eat lunch. And the. breeze keeps us cool.
Today Pat and Tom took the bus from Puerto Vallarta to come and have lunch with us. Every year we get together at least once during the time we are all living here. They live in Toronto. I can report that they both look marvelous. They said the same about us. We sat on our balcony a bit, then walked down to the restaurant and returned to our balcony after lunch. We had a full year of activities to discuss so we were busy the whole time. Next year Tom turns 75 so they are thinking of bringing their whole extended family of 12 here for a week. We explored all their options. One house they found on VRBO was big enough but came with a staff of 5. I am not sure what you would do with a staff of 5 and neither could they so they passed that one by. I will be interested to see what they decide.
Our lunch was delightful. It was a pleasure seeing Pat and Tom again.
