January 10, 2022. Playa Royale, Nuevo Vallarta. An Exciting Evening.

Yesterday, we three decided to eat our sunset food by the pool and have a cocktail too. On our balcony we normally drink water with our sunset food, but not by the pool. The nachos were so good the last time that we deciced to do it again. I came down from the condo a bit after 5:00 and Wendy and Ken joined me from their palapa on the beach. And we ordered. But things do not happen quickly by the pool. Eventually our drinks appeared followed by the nachos ten minutes later. And we enjoyed ourselves. The drinks were strong and the nachos were just as good. Bit by bit, people left the pool, leaving us by ourselves having a good time. Then we were given the exciting news by Wendy. Katey had just told her that she and Brock were going to have a baby in July. We were so excited we ordered guacomole, which we love. So after devouring all the nachos we dove into the gaucomole dip, hooting and laughing with the good news. It was so very exciting. Katey is Wendy's elder daughter so the first grandchild for Wendy. Wendy is going to be a grandmother. The future of the family is secure. My brother and sister in law, Dave and Irene, will now have 4 greatgrandchildren. This was a good evening. We were thrilled. By the time we ate all our food and celebrated by drinking all our strong drinks, it was very dark. Fortunately the path to the building was well lit so with my arms firmly attached to Wendy and Ken, we wended our way home in the pitch black evening. I ate a piece of toast and yoghurt for supper while Wendy and Ken went directly to bed. Our excitement of the evening tired them right out.
