We have made a plan. Once a week, we three will go out for lunch. Last Sunday we went to our favorite restaurant for brunch. And tonight we dined at The Riviera Grill, our closest reataurant just across the street and down the block. With a strong arm on each side of me, we walked. Getting there in the daylight was easy but getting home in the dark was not as easy. But we did it. And we enjoyed ourselves. Ken and I always went out for lunch but this year and with the help of Wendy and Ken, we are trying to go out for dinner once a week. Ken cooks dinner for us each evening, so once a week, he will be off duty. Every season, The Riviera Grill has improved. This year, all the plates and glasses were made of glass with lots of different designs. It was impressive. The foliage in the place has grown up so that you can not see the other folks. When we left, we realized that the restaurant was full but there was no sense of being crowded. And much to my surprise, the service was excellent. Often Mexican restaurants do not wish you to be rushed so they do not pay you much attention. But not tonight. We ate a long leisuely meal. Once i dropped my napkin. Our waiter noticed and immediately brought me a clean one. I was impressed. We overordered but we are glad we did because we all brought home a box of our food, which we will enjoy tomorrow for lunch. And the food was good. Now we must decide where we will go next week. Our plan is in place.
