Experienced travelers know to ignore the weather. They just wear appropriate clothes and go. And no one complains. But when the weather is wonderful, a traveler is grateful. Christina, Mary Frances and Molly have had wonderful weather almost every day. The temperature have ben cooler than normal, in the mid 60s but the sun was shining which made everything better. And they did not mind the coolness as they know that in Jackson, Mississippi, the days have been in the mid 90s. Whew.
When they first arrived, the daily forecast was for several days of rain. Once again, the weather forecaster was wrong. One morning we had fog and rain but by the afternoon the sun came out and and it never left. The weather has been spectacular. We have had friends visit us and never get to see the ocean due to fog and rain. But not this year. Every day they visited another beach. And Molly got into the water every time. I know that we ignore the weather, but when the weather is fine, such as this week, I am especially pleased for my guests. That week has been perfect. Everyone agrees.
