July 4, 2022. Western Head, Nova Scotia. The Truck.

The truck is old, a 1997 model.  Ten years ago the air conconditioner died.  And we left it dead.  After all, the truck worked just fine and the weather is not that hot.  So we drove it with no air conditioned air.  But last summer I got smart and repaired the system and it worked great.  But on Thursday on the way to Caledonia  we turned on the ac to discover no cool coming out the vent.  We made an appointment to take it in on Monday.

We arrived just before 1:00, our appointed time.  And after 90 minutes of waiting, discovered that the problem was the O rings.  It had cracked and leaking.  And they ended to order the part.  So on Monday morning, Anna will return the truck to Bridgewater to have the new O ring installed.  In the meantime, Christina and the girls must drive a truck with no air conditioning.  They were polite and remind me that the air is always cool here in Nova Scotia.  But I know that the truck with air conditioning is more comfortable than driving with the windows open.  But what can you do?
